@RealRose I would say that this is only worthwhile once a certain goal or amount has been reached. In my case, the journey is the goal. Diversification across asset classes. In general, you should hold short-dated bonds to avoid being stuck with long negative interest rates. Here I have a mixed strategy for the remaining term, currently an average of 8-9 years. I feel comfortable with this, for others up to a maximum of 3 years is more sensible.
