Risky bet. A friend of mine is a university lecturer in chemistry and says that the number of students in Germany is currently plummeting. Nobody wants to study chemistry anymore. Mainly because university math is too demanding for high school graduates.

In the long term, the chemical industry will probably have to say goodbye to Germany.

So I don't see it as a "bet" anyway, but as a long-term investment. We'll see where $NTG is at the end of 2025. I think: 18-20 euros is not out of the question.

@Charmin 1 year is long-term for you? 😮

@Epi Did I say that? I merely communicated my expectation for the end of 2025. I will most likely hold $NTG for much longer.

@Charmin "I see it as a long-term investment. We'll see where NTG is at the end of 2025." So the assumption "long-term = 1 year" is obvious, isn't it? 😅

How long do you want to hold?

@Epi That was meant more as: "Let's see how things have developed in a year's time and then we'll see. I'm expecting growth."

My plan is to own 0.1 percent of the company by the end of 2025 - as written in the article. Who knows, maybe even a whole percent sometime in the next few years, and then ride off into the sunset on the dividends.

That's how convinced I am of the share.

@Charmin Okay, I see massive risks for growth, especially in the long term, due to the lack of young skilled workers. You don't care about that?

@Epi Not at all. The company trains its own apprentices and has production sites not only in Germany.
