I am now very skeptical about hydrogen.
I would like to see it happen so that we have other alternatives.
Especially when it comes to trucks and construction machinery, but the production of green hydrogen is so expensive that, in my opinion, only electric or synthetic fuels are an option, as with cars.
The hydrogen we have will probably be needed by industry.

@Michael-official In my opinion, easing the supply situation with green hydrogen would not be that difficult. There are already electrolysers that can be set up decentrally and thus use surplus energy from wind turbines or solar parks. By regularly switching off wind turbines and photovoltaic systems, we have a lot of untapped potential. Even if the efficiency of electrolysis is rather low, it is still better than simply not using the energy.
I think hydrogen is a very sensible alternative, especially for truck transportation, as long ranges can be achieved with little additional weight. For private transport, I personally see rechargeable batteries in the lead.
Edit: Incidentally, the production of green hydrogen is much more efficient than that of e-fuels.
