Playstation $SONY (+0 %) has just announced the PlayStation VR2!

The image was posted on their Instagram channel with the caption "coming early 2023". Are you hyped? Do you have the VR1?

I unfortunately don't, but I always wanted the VR1 because of Skyrim VR.

@Der_Dividenden_Monteur ask Media Markt, Saturn, Gamestop ect if they can add you to the order list. Sometimes it works out that way.

@BASS-T I don't play the game. I would get a PS5 at the RRP by picking it up in the store or ordering it online. The fact that new things can be sold out in the first few weeks is not a problem. But now almost 2 years after release still not enough consoles to provide, is mMn simply weak. I have a strong computer anyway and do without the console. I know some people who have already said goodbye to it. You don't have to run after Sony as a potential customer.

Yes and yes, but I found VR1 relatively disappointing, since there were hardly any real games, but rather only a kind of demo. The only convincing games were Resident Evil7, No Mans Sky and the VR World. Everything else was either full of bugs (Skyrim) or finished when you had just gotten used to it.

In November, it will be 2 years since the PS5 was officially released. It is still not possible to purchase the console easily. Upcoming exclusive titles like "God Of War 2", "Horizon 2" or "Gran Turismo 7" have already been downscaled for the PS4. For me, Sony makes an enormously battered impression and a new VR system won't change that.

@RegularJohn Well, if you want a PS5, you'll get one at the MSRP. Fortunately, I got mine right at launch, but I've bought several more in the meantime for those who wanted one. It bothers me much more that there are simply no PS5 games, but only somewhat revamped PS4 games. And VR has never been something that Sony has particularly pulled up. That was simply a gimmick for interested people in much lower numbers than the consoles themselves. That's why there is no real VR promotion and no real VR games, but only technology demo bites.

By the way, the German words are: angekündigt und aufgeregt 🙄
