@7Trader I also want to see the others on the stock market. Medtronic is on my watchlist but I haven't looked at it independently yet, but the overlaps with Carl Zeiss aren't that big, so you could go in. I don't think it would do much harm to drop €500 in your portfolio and the upside is definitely there to go back to €100 from here in the next 1-2 years. The capital efficiencies are not bad either
@topicswithhead I don't want to hide the fact that this can also be 10-20% an emotional decision, but I don't think it can get much better than Zeiss. The brand is simply branded as quality
@topicswithhead I wouldn't have seen Medtronic as a direct competitor either, as the overlaps are small. I wouldn't want to invest just €500, but I'll keep an eye on "your" stock 😉 However, other stocks are higher up on the waiting list for new additions and increases. Let's see if Zeiss will also be there.
