$AIR (-1,31 %) is modernizing the A400M-military transporter fleet as part of a 380 million euro contract.
The improvements include a satellite-based landing systemmodernized radio equipment and more secure data transmission to ensure interoperability between the operating countries such as Germany, France and Great Britain to strengthen its position.
The contract was concluded with Occar, the agency coordinating the A400M program.
By 2026, all 53 aircraft for the German Air Force are to be delivered by 2026.
