@PikaPika0105 Yes, you could have. But who knows when the new console will actually arrive. Nintendo is actually doing quite well. What I always ask myself is why they don't make much more of their opportunities? Especially when it comes to movies, I see a lot of potential. Master detective Pikachu, Mario... I'm not quite sure whether Nintendo has sold the rights to the films in full or only in part
But Nintendo still has a lot of potential. Why not a Zelda movie? Or Kirby. Ok, that would be more of a children's movie. But Nintendo has quite a few "heroes" in its portfolio

@Hotte1909 but you're not well informed 🤓 More and more movies are coming now, including a Zelda movie (there's already a date), but quality over quantity otherwise the fans will tear it apart. New console coming next year at the latest, probably in spring, official trailer and everything coming by March they said.

Movies are just coming, as are merch stores and theme parks, so the next few years will be very interesting and I wouldn't have sold the shares.

Nothing has been officially announced about the console yet. Neither whether it will be a "switch pro" or a completely new generation. At least that's what I thought last week. I read another article about it. As I said, I'm not going to sell everything. I like Nintendo too much for that 😉 Apple is a different story. As an Androider, I don't have any points of reference there, so I'm not so sorry if I sell shares.

May I ask why exactly ? Do you not believe in the successor model or have you found what you think is a better investment? Or are you simply building up cash because you think there will be better investment opportunities in the near future? ☺️ I had repeatedly toyed with the idea of investing, but then couldn't bring myself to do so because the future was too unclear for me.

@BamBamInvest somehow all a bit. I'm currently converting to dividends anyway as I want to work less and Apple has performed very well recently. I could well imagine it going sideways or slightly downwards in the next 2 years. Part of it will go into a dividend-paying world. Apple is well represented there anyway
