TransAlta Renewables $RNW is to be acquired by TransAlta Corporation $TA (+0,19 %) to be acquired:

https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/transalta-corporation-to-acquire-transalta-renewables-inc-to-simplify-structure-and-enhance-strategic-position-833099966.html

$13(CAD) is offered per share, or 1.0337 Transalta Corp. shares per TranAlta Renewables share.

I will probably take the cash and invest in either UK Wind $UKW (+0,66 %) or Atlantica Sustainable $AY reallocate.

Then my position at liquidation would be about +/-0 including dividends.

I actually read the filling by chance at about 12 o'clock yesterday and bought without further ado because the takeover price is the equivalent of about 8.91 EUR. I liquidated the position yesterday at this price with some loss. Too early? Tomorrow is also ex dividend. Be that as it may, now the search for a better alternative begins.

Buy again now? What do you say? It's pretty unlikely that this will be nothing :)

Top, that strengthens my $TA position. In my opinion, currently totally undervalued. Large write-offs have been completed, so fire at will.

165 I have at comdirect and at finanzen.net Zero just started this month a savings plan. Now I'm waiting for the official letters and will reject the first offer (I think that will work) and hope that they offer something more to then take the money.

I am actually considering staying in and taking the 1.0337 shares per share. But I haven't had such a case yet. Where are the pros and cons 🤷‍♂️ am at 7.67 € pure. Or does it make more sense to sell the shares? I was actually satisfied with my small monthly distribution. That will change in the future then. And the dividends could change but also again in the course 🤔
