$LU0323578657 (+0,45 %) Hi. I have had the Flossbach von Storch Multiple Opportunities R in my portfolio for 12 years. An old corpse from another era. Do you have any ideas on what I should buy instead that performs a little better? I was also thinking about the ACWI or MSCI World.

FTSI World, MSCI World, MSCI World Quality, MSCI World Momentum. Some also use the Dow Jones Global Titan 50. Choose the one you feel most comfortable with, all indices are very good and broadly based.

I personally use the MSCI World Quality Etf $XDEQ for the global market. Of course in combination with other ETFs such as IT World, Future of Defense and Nasdaq 100 as well as MSCI Japan.

FTSE All World, or MSCI if you don't want this EM component.

However, it must be clear to you that:
1- This FvS fund is not actually 100% invested in equities.
It has a gold component, and is therefore more diversified in terms of asset allocation than a pure world ETF which is 100% in equities.
2- This FvS fund has a lower US exposure than the ETFs mentioned above, and therefore also less risk in terms of country allocation, respectively land concentration, than a FTSE or MSCI, which has about 70% US exposure.

These two factors explain why this fund performs worse than a pure world ETF, but is more diversified.

This FvS is not bad (4 star, bronze at Morningstar), but quite expensive.
In the end it depends on how much money you have already invested in it.
But one option would be to keep this FvS fund on the side and invest in a cheaper World ETF.

(sorry for the multiple messages, somehow there is a bug with Getquin, and I couldn't summarize everything as 1 message, maybe @Kundenservice can help)

To be honest, I would go with an S&P 500 position. I’m personally invested in the MultiOps-i, which is a very defensive and highly diversified position with a volatile stock portfolio-% that is weighted towards the EU
Thank you for your feedback - it has helped me a lot
