Now it has been announced that the blue tick for the subscription at $TWTR is coming back.

8€ on the web and 11€ in the AppStore.

Somehow this reminds me of the legal dispute between Apple and Epic Games, because there were also price differences and thus users were animated not to buy via the AppStore, whereby Apple loses revenue.

Is this the next trouble between Musk and Tim Cook from $AAPL (+1,34 %) in the offing?

Unlike in the case of Epic Games vs. Apple, I believe that the losses for Apple (strictly speaking, rather the lack of revenue) will be smaller, at least for the time being. While Epic Games already had a functioning business, Twitter is still in its infancy. It remains to be seen where the journey of $TWTR will go, given the many challenges that must now be faced. I therefore join the donkey. 🍿

Honestly, what Apple is doing with the App Store is just plain cheeky. Alternative stores should have the possibility to be used in the iPhone. Why this monopoly is not death-regulated, I can only explain through appropriate influence on governments. But Bigtech is too powerful anyway.
