I'm not sure, but I think I read this week that the Nigerians have raised their uranium selling price from $0.80/kg to $200/kg. I guess they are selling a lot on the market and maybe this is now going through the whole industry??? 🤷🏼‍♂️

The military took over, too, didn't it? Politically quite difficult patch of earth.

@Gerit It's just hard for me to imagine that you can still be competitive with it.

@KevinC

if you control a large part of the market and there is more demand than supply, then competition doesn't matter, right? 😅

@Gerit But with such extreme price increases, this will never work in the long term. When horses died because of a volcanic eruption, bicycles were developed. It will develop similarly with raw materials.

You're probably right. I'm curious anyway how the situation will develop down there.

The ECB has indicated that this could be the last interest rate hike for the time being. In addition, the euro has lost a lot against the dollar, which is why the value of U.S. stocks (in dollars) increases when you look at the value in euros.
