New Year's cleaning, how I burn my money and #roastmyportfolio 👀!

Friends, the well-kept plant: I would be very happy about your feedback pleased!

Many had already wished that I tell times more about my portfolio and I would like to do that now after the "New Year's cleaning" finally. Since I have no depot link, I always have to enter everything manually, but I never wanted 😂 - so I have entered the last few days all investiotionen of the last few years and also "cleaned up" my depots.

Let gladly a feedback there - whether constructive criticism, praise or simply your opinion - I'm happy about any feedback 👍!

First, some info about me:

25, banker (fortunately no longer in sales), overall quite risk-averse & very spontaneous in life on the road, do not shy away from challenges and am happy to fly sometimes on the Fre$$e 😎.

My goal:

Beat inflation, make the money work for me, a little retirement savings, ... just all the "standard stuff" that almost everyone states here when asked this question 😅.

But currently I would like to first of all dividends collect dividends in order to

a) the fully utilize the tax allowance and

b) reduce my monthly expensessuch as Spotify, Netflix & Co. with it pay to be able to.

Why "only" a little retirement provision?

I already own a ETW and I am in the process of buying a second second property to acquire. Thus (as of January 2023 😅) 2 properties, which will later significantly also make up a large part of the AV. In addition, I already have both via my AG an AV contract with "promotion" running and also via my health insurance, one or the other product running, because I have already concluded these a few years ago at conditions and these still make sense arithmetically, by zb. tax benefits and and and... 🙂 (of course fund-based)

My "strategy":

Actually, at this point I would first like your feedback, before I come to the explanations, why I have which position in the depot. But since many have wished that in the short introduction one or the other is said, why, why and why. Therefore, I would still like to say a few words about it, hoping not to "manipulate" your feedback 😁.

ETFs:

My two largest positions are the MSCI ACWI ( $ISAC (+0,26 %) ) & the STOXX Global Select Dividend ( $ISPA (+0,06 %) ). These will continue to be saved with a monthly savings rate and thus expanded over the long term.

These two were created from the termination of my VL contracts, which were invested at my bank at the time. Even though I get "special conditions" as my own employee, ETFs are of course more favorable in the long term (and also perform better 😉).

Individual stocks:

Predominantly I attach here personal value on the brand, the company and what is behind it. So I invest among other things out of "Conviction" and "Support" of the companies whose products I use 🥳.

As an example, many of my devices are from Apple ( $AAPL (+1,34 %) ), I am still convinced that this company is also in the future top positioned and why should I not participate in the success of the enterprise, which products I myself use virtually every day?

Likewise Mercedes ( $MBG (-0,07 %) ), in my family there are only cars of this brand... it was put to me quasi in the cradle and to the conclusion of my education I acquired myself evenly directly one from my savings. Other values like BVB ( $BVB (-0,63 %) ), Coca Cola ( $KO (-0,4 %) ) & Co. follow this statement ☺️.

The second important point for individual stocks, as mentioned above, is the Dividends 🤑.

Companies that pay dividends are basically interesting for me first... then of course it comes down to personal opinion and a few facts, figures & data.

Companies like BASF ($BAS (-0,12 %) ), Allianz ( $ALV (-0,66 %) ), RioTinto ( $RIO (-0,93 %) ), MainStreetCapital ( $MAIN (+0,27 %) ) or also PhilippMorris ( $PM (+0,48 %) ) and Brit. American Tobacco ( $BATS (-0,24 %) ) naturally don't pay badly here, which is why these fit perfectly into my portfolio 🤝.

I could collect a total of just under €125 here in 2022, which is still too little for me, of course 🤓.

Crypto:

In fact, even before the stock market, I started trading cryptos back then... during my school days I already had Bitcoins ( $BTC (+0,61 %) ) and Etherium ( $ETH (+1,95 %) ), since many teachers, classmates or older buddies knew about it... I remember well when I was too stingy to buy a Bitcoin for just under 247€ and only got in with 150€... I would have done better 😓.

Long story short:

Here I am still invested, have sold a lot and bought again cheap and would like to continue to keep the positions, because you never know what is still to come 😉. Same goes for Dogecoin ( $DOGE (+2,33 %) ).

So I would be very happy about a feedback and your opinion and promise that I now enter my savings plans also continuously and not at the beginning of next year again make a "New Year's cleaning" and all data of the last years must enter 😂.

THE favorite banker wishes you continued success, health 🍀 and all the best for 2023 👍!

What is the investment case for BVB shares? Are you a die-hard fan? If yes, then one can see from your execution that your investment decisions are very biased. "Conviction" and "support" can tempt you to look at shares too emotionally and then make the classic emotionally driven wrong decisions. Like the example with Apple and your own use of their devices. Of course, one can find access to a company and develop interest along the way, but it should not be the only motivation. There were also many convinced Nokia users in the past, also market leader at the time with over 40% market share. Today, it has completely sunk into insignificance. The same thing can theoretically happen with Apple. That's why you should buy and hold the stock, because the numbers, strategy, moat and perspective are good, not because the iPhone is so fancy 🤷🏻‍♂️ It's the same with the BVB stock. I am very critical of soccer shares. Very volatile and susceptible to all kinds of events. The only positive example I can think of, where a real return was made, was Manchester United when TeamViewer was out as a sponsor and the share was up 30-40% within a few days.

Well, I don't think the strategy of individual shares and ETFs is that far-fetched. However, you have to be careful with the weighting. Many users can not overlook which titles are already in the ETF and have these then weighted higher. Overall, I think it's brave that you out yourself as a banker. ;)

Brilliant portfolio thanks to the BVB shares. But I would buy a little more.

The ACWI is great! In the individual stocks I would look at long-term upward trends and dividend growth, you will have a better performance in the long term as with your selected stocks, although it also depends primarily on the purchase price. PepsiCo is the better stock like CocaCola for example, although you must not go by the taste of the drink 😉 ASML $ASML Black Rock $BLKor Accenture $ACN ( in corrections at a fair price )

Cool strategy, I like your thoughts on it. What I could recommend to you would be to possibly also have an eye on the emerging markets around the Asia Pacific Indonesia sector. I am also planning my ETF strategy with a small position in this sector. Above all, the location of the Americas and Europe is weighted too heavily in your portfolio for me personally. You are also welcome to take a look at mine and give me feedback. But only from February then are the last ETF in it. I will then continue to reduce my individual stocks but see it like you and would also like to try the riskier but perhaps more profitable dual investment. 🤝🏼
