Ripple ($XRP (+5,42 %)) - The lawsuit between Ripple and the SEC is expected to be resolved by a court decision in April 2022. In the December 2020 lawsuit, the SEC alleged that Ripple and its executives sold $1.3 billion worth of XRP in an unregistered securities offering. Ripple then argued that Ripple is not a security and thus they are not subject to securities laws. The ruling may have a very large impact on cryptocurrencies in general.
