Paypal wants to enable payment at the checkout

I think that $PYPL (-0,75 %) that's far too late, isn't it? Would anyone really want to use this privately? Is there a specific target group for this?

Well, in the USA you have 5-15% cashback while here at Amazon, for example, it's 1% or linked to any subscriptions

Hm. With ApplePay/GooglePay via smartphone or smartwatch, Paypal is no longer really needed at checkouts.

I hardly ever use Paypal anymore. At most with Ebay.
Otherwise I rely on cash.

As already explained 1,000,000 times, it makes infinite sense to use PayPal wherever possible - instead of using Visa/MC/Amex/Girocard, simply use PayPal and store the corresponding cards or accounts of your choice there. This way, you benefit from the advantages of the payment service provider AND the advantages of PayPal at the same time.

There is literally no one for whom it makes sense to pay cashless but in a different constellation.
