Hello Friends,

I have been following all the posts etc. here with great interest for a quarter of a year now.

After a lot of back and forth, I have decided on a strategy. During this time I have also had to learn a few lessons.

My general goal is long-term wealth accumulation (25 - 30 years) and I currently invest in the following shares, ETFs and cryptos via a savings plan:

$VWCE (+0,31 %) 100 €

$BTC (-1,72 %) 25€

$DTE (-1,3 %) 25€

$NVDA (+6,15 %) 25€

$IGLN (+0,63 %) 25€

$AMZN (+1,83 %) & $MSFT (+3,69 %) I currently have small amounts in my portfolio, which I intend to increase if necessary.

Furthermore I have $IESE (+0,56 %) & $QDV5 (-1 %) but I will soon be throwing them out as they have not really performed as I had hoped over the last few months.

As I'm still very new to this, I'm hoping for constructive tips and criticism on what I could possibly improve.

I will be able to increase the savings rate myself towards the end of 2025 when I get a certain salary increase.

I look forward to your answers.

I am no expert, but I was wondering if you have cost for small purchase of €25 for multiple shares. If there are costs per transaction, it will be a huge cost for small portion purchase.

@bettercall there are no costs via saving plans with my broker

@noregrets59 In that case, I would not keep $DTE , rather could keep some other stable growth potential stock. Like $VOW3 or $V or $O

@bettercall not sure how you consider $VOW and $O to be stocks with growth potential…

@DerAzubi Over the last 20 years or so, $O has made more than Telekom, that's true, but nobody knows whether it will be the same for the next 20 years.

@noregrets59 his statement was about growth potential, which does not include $O. For your investment horizon, I would focus on future-oriented companies for individual stocks. Either something riskier (no gambling) or something like $V. But then you can also put everything directly into $VWRL.

@DerAzubi I've been in $V before and got out again because I thought there was no point, I should have thought about it better haha
@bettercall There are several brokers that charge you approx 1 USD/1 EUR per transaction but do have a larger spread. Some of them offer regular buys without transaction costs, just the spread.

@meistm some brokers offer you a free depot if you have a savings plan

If you are investing for 25-30 years, I would not be put off by the return of a few months. India has made 30% over 1 year, it's clear that there has to be a sideways movement from time to time

May I ask what kind of strategy you are following when you invest in stocks etfs and crypto?

The core ETF is intended for long-term asset accumulation. As mentioned, the other two will be removed and transferred to the All World. Bitcoin is more of a gimmick, so that can be left out for a bit.

Most of the individual stocks are already in the All World, which is also intended to weight them a little more. The weighting of the individual assets is not yet where I want it to be because, as I mentioned, I have often rebalanced and felt like I was starting from scratch three times. However, the individual stocks are all intended for long-term growth.

@noregrets59 all right thanks. I would recommend you to weight the core more and the individual stocks not so much but otherwise good strategy
