HOEGH has been on my watchlist for a while, but only now have I managed to get in...I spend a lot of my free time with shares in various sectors and my watchlist is really full to bursting

I have a slightly different approach to building up my portfolio at the moment and have actually done quite well with it so far. But there will certainly come a time when I will add one or two mainstream stocks to my portfolio 😉

@1aDNA That's right, plus German tax, so a little more than half is gone for now. You can easily get 10% withholding tax back from NO, the rest via the German tax return. I'm currently working on a brief overview of the refund, which I promised some time ago and now I have to deliver 😇😜

@AktienRob88 I am invested in $TRMD A.

In my view, shipping is always fraught with risk. It is a cyclical business with high stakes. I would see shipping companies as an admixture that should not make up too large a proportion of the portfolio.

Once the fundamental decision has been made that maritime transportation should be part of the portfolio, you are then spoilt for choice as to which sub-segment to invest in. Tankers, car carriers, general cargo. I think it's a shame that the distributing shipping ETF $BOAT is apparently not traded here in Germany. This would otherwise have been my first choice to diversify within the industry and at the same time receive regular and high distributions.
