Bitcoin or Solana

I have only recently become interested in stocks and crypto! In your experience, what is better to invest in a "cheap" Crypton $XRP (-0,96 %)
$SOL (-1,29 %) or rather $BTC (-0,32 %) . I would like to improve my retirement provision a little! I.e. hold for at least 10 years.

Is a savings plan better or would it be better to buy at a low point?

Thank you very much for your contribution, I look forward to the exchange 😊

I would recommend the classic Bitcoin if you want crypto

Definitely Bitcoin for the investment period!

@BlockBard prefer to buy as a savings plan or so again and again? I am with Trade Republic

@asset_engineer_991 I do very well with a savings plan, otherwise you're just checking prices. Use Bison or similar for Bitcoin and no Trade Republic

I’d say a bit of $XRP (fast transactions/low fees) / $SOL & $ETH (for staking/web3 projects) / and $BTC for secutity/value.

That’s what i personally do, no investment advice

-diversification
-dyor
-don’t forget that crypto is really volatile !

If you have been interested in this for a "short time", here are some tips:
1. start by saving smaller amounts in BTC at shorter intervals (e.g. 1 week)
2. be aware that it goes up and down and you may also see a very large minus (you have to endure that)
3. observe and learn (without buying) alt coins such as XRP, SOL, ETH, ADA, etc. Only buy when you are sure you understand what you are buying and why you are buying.
4. the money you might want to invest in meme coins is better invested in scratch cards, lottery or a bar of your choice
5. ad Staking - because it was mentioned here. Staking gives you a return on your coins (like interest). However, if the price of your coin falls, your capital and your return will fall in value. In the worst case scenario, you will have received x coins worth EUR 0 in "return". In short: if the price falls more than your return, you make a loss despite staking. Staking SOL and ETH... you can leave that alone.

6. ad Web3 - this is not something that is compatible with "for a short time ..." you can use your coins for liquidity pools, airdrop farming, etc. or also (suitable coins) staking
When staking, you can generally make good annual returns (around 30%), but you should then hedge the price (short the coin) (long-term high returns and price gains are more of a warm ice lolly)

I have bought Solana and Bitcoin and am holding both. Of course you can wait for a low, but what if it doesn't come and both go up?

Personally, I start with an ETF to save something for my retirement. Beyond that, I look at where I invest.

Cryptos are also very interesting. I would agree with the other comments here and also invest in the classic Bitcoin, but possibly also in other projects that offer a certain added value.
