@DoppelSchlechtMinus because I don't fancy upfront lump sums & mini dividends as pocket money bring a little joy later. Kind regards

@Bullnbear Wasn't there still an advance lump sum this year because the mini-dividends weren't enough to offset it? 😅 But the idea is not wrong, of course.

@DoppelSchlechtMinus My point was that, provided the savings rate remains the same, it shouldn't matter at all whether he saves the distributing or accumulating variant. The annual tax-free amount should not be exhausted until the child reaches the age of 18. After that, the child could still continue to save the same ETF in the accumulating variant.
