Honestly, does he really think that will help? Ultimately, it should be clear to everyone that what happened can happen again at any time with an algo stablecoin. I think most people have simply lost faith in Luna too

I still have 12 worthless Luna tokens lying around at Binance. Do I understand correctly that they will now be split into LunaC and Luna, which will presumably have hardly any value? They've been inflated like crazy, if I've understood correctly.
