I would like to add one of the two to my portfolio. Both very solid and I don't think I'm doing anything wrong with either, but I only want one position for now.

In the end, Lilly would have been the better investment. Even if it is down double digits ytd but still better than Novo.
Perhaps I should have written in the comment that neither was an investment.
Because Lilly was far too expensive at the time.

Not an issue in the long term either.
As I wrote, the company is broadly positioned and still has a lot in the pipeline.
But I personally am positioned differently in the pharma sector
