Cluster risk

I can understand your emotions. I am unfamiliar with some of the stocks, but the question should be asked whether semiconductors/chi/tech will be more likely to meet us in the future or not. I would continue to bet on the sector 👍🏻.

@Hammerdividende This does not mean that shares have to rise exorbitantly. High demand/fantasy is already priced into many share prices.

The question is whether everything will materialize as it is already assumed.

Okay, it has to be said that the semiconductor sector has barely recovered since the mini-crash in August. And a recovery is only now taking place in some cases. After the last figures, ASML threw the sector down again to some extent. So I still see room for upward movement. Or how do you see it?

@Tenbagger2024 I'm not saying it's not worth investing, the question is at what price and in which companies.
Personally, I'm a big fan of $ASML, $AMAT & $KLAC. I have a comparatively large investment in ASML, I would like to get into Applied Materials (at ~€150) and I was invested in KLA but then got out at ~€700 per share because the potential seemed exhausted due to the valuation.
I would have less confidence in the lofty valuations of $ARM or $AMD. Not to mention crisis companies like $INTC.

The machine builders are running almost in parallel, so it should be enough to have one in the portfolio. I therefore think I will liquidate Tokio Electron.

@Tenbagger2024 almost yes. That's why I'm happy with my position in ASML.

@PiHu
Thank you, my dear, for the great summary. Of course it's all pico. Nevertheless, a lump risk remains

By the way, I would also like to see such a summary of the weekly and monthly performance of individual stocks in the portfolio at getquin. @Kundenservice

@Tenbagger2024 that would be really very good yes - I agree with you

I would get rid of Nvidia and asml and invest partly in qualcomm and hynx.

Nvidia I stick to it

I don't think the computer stuff will catch on anyway.

@RIR119 just like this "Internet". It has no future for me personally...🤓

I'm surprised that the railroad and the car were able to prevail. Even though both were so dangerous
I also have some stocks in this area in my portfolio, but I am sticking with them and am very confident about the future

I would definitely hold on to Nvidia, Qualcomm, Asml and MU for a long time.

Personally, I wouldn't change anything. You are well positioned in my eyes.

I think you are well positioned in the semiconductor sector 😬 there is something from every region ✌️außerdem I believe that the semiconductor sector will continue to grow extremely over the years 🚀

Mei, that might fall at your feet *today*. I don't see a problem in the long term, as long as the fundamentals of the stocks are right. I know for a fact that they will ...

We are now entering the age of AI, still in its infancy but it will be big, see the Trump decree. After that comes quantum tech. And then Mars. I'm already investing in greenhouses for greening. No, seriously, it's going to happen. I wish I had more money to invest ;-)

I have the same thoughts as you, as I also have a lot of semiconductors in my portfolio, around 30% of the portfolio value. ASML, NVIDIA, LRCX, CDNS. Of your stocks, I will be getting rid of micron, hynix and Qualcomm.

Huhu, what percentage of your portfolio is in the semiconductor sector?

@Tenbagger2024 with me 30%!

I was very bullish on NVIDIA a year ago and also had a bad feeling here and there. In the meantime, I'm so fat in the + that I couldn't care less about a correction. I also recently invested 10k in ASML. It will be fine in the long run...
I would leave everything as it is. Think about 3-5 years...

@Johann_van_der_Smut
Thank you my good man.

Otherwise there is also the $SMH...

Maybe you should buy shares at a lower price. As well as considering other companies.
It's very important buying great companies' shares under fair value and never as a trend.
