I have now sold my small position $MNST (+1,22 %) now sold.

I bought the position back on 23.03.2022 as it was included in various analyses and almost all analysts saw a buy in the share. As a result, I actually bought it quite naively. Simply to get back into the stock market after buying a house.

True to the motto: there can't be more than 0!

In the meantime, I no longer take such a naïve view and the current figures and forecasts for the coming years, as well as the situation surrounding $CELH and the general situation in the energy drinks sector have finally persuaded me to sell this position.

I will use the amount to increase the $ACWI again soon.

@Memo0606 had bet on the turn at celsius. Was rather nothing
The entire industry is really struggling. I just feel more comfortable at $IWDA 🙈

I can't understand that. Absolutely solid value with a lot more to come. I hold.

@4HHUultr4 Everyone has their reasons. Can be very good. But I don't really support the value anymore.

I sold for very similar reasons. I see more potential in Celsius. I particularly like the brand image, the smaller cans with vitamins and the pouch form

@BregisMoon just. I'm curious to see what else is coming 👍
@BregisMoon I don't think the two companies can necessarily be seen as direct competitors. For example: Monster tends to target "the extreme", "performance", "danger", "action" and "adventure". Celsius tends to target health-conscious users who have yet to discover an energy drink for themselves. This also explains the rapid increase in Celsius' sales and the lack of sales losses at Monster (9M2024 5.68bn vs 5.4bn in 9M2023). In my analysis, Celsius is not a competitor but rather a complement. The market for energy drinks has been completed by a missing piece of the puzzle. Direct competition to Monster and Red Bull has not yet materialized. Even Coca Cola failed with its energy drink, took it off the market and simply bought Monster shares.

I think it's a really exciting prospect 👌 In particular, $KO 's involvement in $MNST naturally strengthens the brand. But somehow I'm not a fan of Energy myself and I'm more of a user of Celsius than Monster.
