Can you please use "Bitcoin" as the plural of Bitcoin in the future and not "Bitcoins"?
Here you also have a few coins as a bribe😘 Thank you🧡

@stefan_21 That is not gender fair😜

@stefan_21 Plural of Bitcoin is Bitcoins

@Mark777 Do you have a gender-appropriate suggestion?
Imagen de perfil
@Nofan No, it's not :)
"Bitcoins" was used in the early days. Simply because the plural of coin is "coins".
In the meantime, the Bitcoin community has agreed for several years that "Bitcoin" is the correct plural.
Nobody says "I sent you 2 Bitcoins" anymore -> they say "I sent you 2 Bitcoin".

Just google bitcoin plural....what does it say? Always this babble....where does any community care...

@stefan_21 I'm not as creative as the new generation😄
...Bitcoin(s/ers/the)..😅

@Nofan According to Duden, both are possible:

Since the community only uses one variant, this one has probably prevailed, hasn't it?

Bitcoins. 😎

@stefan_21 Nobody says "I sent you 2 Bitcoins" because they are so expensive that you can't just send several of them. 😉

@Chandra was just an example. Another would be "Microstrategy has announced that it has again acquired 15,094 Bitcoin at a price of xy" -> is that better? :D

For smaller amounts, people now say "sats" for satoshis. So 0.01 Bitcoin = 1 million Sats :)
