PayPal

All banks in the EU now offer free real-time bank transfers. Only PayPal still charges a 1% fee for this. The share has been dirty for years:

-16% over one year

-26% since the beginning of the year

-64% over five years

-76% since the all-time high in July 2021

Same share price as 2017. Too much competition with too little growth. What do you think of $PYPL (-3,18 %) and the share?

I took the screenshot yesterday. Payout from Paypal to my German bank account. Real time still costs 1%. Any opinions?

So it doesn't cost me anything and that's always been the case 🤔

@Keksbaer I think there are slight differences whether you enter your IBAN there or go the Visa route, for example. But I'm not sure

I don't have Paypal as a tradesman, so it's superfluous 😀
Digital currencies (ECB, Latin America) give PayPal the rest 😅
Long term short

I also sold PayPal some time ago. I still use it, but I don't see any future in it at all. There is simply far too much competition for PayPal in the USA.

PayPal also has regular security gaps and leaks.

My real-time transfer from PayPal to my bank account was recently free.

But I also remember that there was a charge for this a few months ago.
