Hi together

At the traditional Swiss company Swatch Group AG, shareholders receive an annual dividend in kind in the form of a wristwatch as a gift if a registered share has been entered in the register of names.

I still find this exciting to receive a new wristwatch every year at the current price of CHF 42.

Would you invest in this company based on this?

Happy Weekend!

Do you have to be resident in Switzerland? The exchange rate doesn't look that great.

@KapriolenSonne Do you really want to say something about the courses?

@KapriolenSonne Swatch comments:
"It is correct that the shareholder gift will only be delivered to an address in Switzerland. If a shareholder domiciled abroad wishes to receive the shareholder gift, an address in Switzerland can be entered on the electronic voting platform. However, the search for a Swiss delivery address is the responsibility of the shareholder."
So if you have acquaintances in Switzerland or similar, this is not a problem

@KapriolenSonne A Swiss address/residential address is required, but you do not necessarily have to live there.

How many shares do you have to buy to get a Watch?

@MAXICONRAD One is enough, this must be registered in Switzerland with name, costs of course n few euros

@RoronoaZoro ahh top thanks for the info. Since one would have every year a free birthday gift for someone

@MAXICONRAD Yes, but you have to look, dividend in kind is always a specially designed watch, so you have no choice ;)

@RoronoaZoro find there certainly already a suitable fit 😂

I don't think the watch itself is that nice, but it's a cool idea from Swatch!
