Why ASML? 🥲

@Semos25 because I had 2 semiconductor stocks in my portfolio and the position had to be large enough to further reduce the cost price and to be able to buy $IREN and possibly $ELF. If $AMD makes it and my investment works out, I think they will outperform $ASML for 3 years. We'll see 😄.
But doing nothing would probably have been smarter 😂

@BamBamInvest sounds like a good strategy. I still think that ASML will improve. Of course, you should also invest in renewable energy. I'll have to take a closer look at all this.

@BamBamInvest daring 😎 but if it works, all the better. But with ASML you have little to no competition. What's the situation with AMD?

@Sansebastian true, but growth in China/Asia is also difficult if that is eliminated. With $AMD, I am betting that they will continue to expand their market share compared to $INTC, that after Corona life cycle PCs should also pick up again and that the data center inference area will grow strongly and they will be the leader here. Is bigger than the training market. We will see, it remains exciting ✌️

@BamBamInvest but the machines are needed "everywhere" 😉 but we'll see. Good luck 😊

@Sansebastian According to Lisa Su, AMD is best positioned in the area of inference. The focus has so far been on training with GPUs, but now the focus should shift to inference. AMD should be very strong here. AMD's turnover will then probably rise sharply from 2025 to 2030.

@Sansebastian Yes, I know that, but it's not like you can sell 1 million machines a year. If $AMD manages to continue to have 30-60% growth in the data center sector, then the position will be fun, if not, I assume that I will not make a -50% loss either, as they are in the gaming sector etc . Yes, they are also well positioned , remains exciting .

@BamBamInvest I absolutely agree with you. But AMD is lagging behind on the charts and I can't really understand why that is. That's why AMD is currently uninteresting for me, as there has been a downward trend since around March 24. And that really has its reasons

@Sansebastian charttechnically completely correct, let's hope it holds the 200 WMA ✌️😁
