500 in 2030?

According to $ASTS (-0,75 %) the share is expected to be worth around 500 dollars by 2023.

What do you think, with competition like #starlink and $AMZN.

Do you think this forecast is likely?

I don't think much of forecasts, if it was very likely that this would be worth €500 in 2030, then it would already cost €400 or so now :D

As far as I know, Starlink and Project Kuiper (that's what you meant by $AMZN, right?) don't do 5G directly from satellite to smartphone. So you're comparing apples with oranges.

If $ASTS delivers what it promises, then a price of $500 is quite possible. But as the saying goes: "If it weren't for the little word 'if'." First the satellites have to go up.

2030 is a long way off, so I wouldn't dare make any predictions, but if you believe the $DBK forecast, then it's certainly possible.

I'm invested and hope for the best. 🤷‍♀️

@dividend_champion_qeroy The volatility is of course very high and you have to be able to withstand it if you want to be invested here. I've been invested since 2022 and have seen everything between -80% and +300%...

In my experience, satellite launches are often delayed or set very optimistically. There is still plenty of downside potential if there are too many delays. But I'm quite relaxed about that now. They have a lot of big-name partners and a lot of cash.
