I’d be very surprised if they were not guilty (as almost everyone else in the gaming addtech), it is a common practice, but nothing happens until you’re in the spotlight. And $APP for sure is now.

In any case, there have been many short reports saying just that and the stock has overcome all of them.

It was (untily today) my biggest holding, as I bought after talking to someone close to me that works in the sector and knows them well (best performing platform by far). When I bought they were switching everything to their platform as the results were way better than with anyone else, and I held cz It kept that way and the numbers tell the same story.. But I’ve been selling small portions lately (10%), as the stock was too close to the sun.

I’ll keep holding my position, but expect turbulences… good thing is that this investigations take time and 2 EPS beats will make everyone forget about it 😅

Applovin has already been down 50% after february, when the short repports happened, and it has had a big run since then. But this is an actual investigation…

Ah crap... I had a short position on AppLovin but had already sold 50% with 40% loss and now back to +- 0.

So my timing somehow always sucks 🤦‍♂️

Somehow it still seems to be about the old story.
Somehow I have the feeling that short sellers are behind it again. Who have filed a complaint with the sec. And if they have a complaint, they have to take action
And all this while 🍊 the officials are still on vacation. Could perhaps still take a while 🙈
