Mmmm...🙃 I hope for your sake that the medium-term return clearly beats the accruing overdraft interest. I'll keep my fingers crossed 👍🏼

@opportunity_scout_1864 I pay less than 4% (something around 3.75) and it's only for max 2-3 months... will survive it

You won't recoup the interest on a standard overdraft facility with $PG returns. Buying shares on credit never really works, at least not with long-term quality stocks like Procter&Gamble: they always go up, the investor always gets rich, but it takes time.
Buy the dip is therefore totally irrelevant with P&G.
To recoup your interest through dividend yields: Takes too long. And selling P&G again: makes no sense, realizing price gains doesn't actually work😉.
Better buy your wife a big bouquet 🌹.....

The quarterly forecasts have just been lowered: the analyst freaks will construe this as the end of the world and the P&G share price will continue to plummet - I suspect.
Because the "analyst" doesn't understand that sales and profits are still rising, just not as strongly. The company controller does.

@Gomerdoc everything you say is right 🫡 maybe that's why I'm not a millionaire yet 😂😉

@Gomerdoc I didn't want to argue, but somehow I can't leave it at that:

Such small setbacks are a rarity with P&G, so I'm only happy to take them. It may be that there are warnings, but nobody knows how it will turn out and that's why there's a tranche.

Currently you are right, I have a difference of 1% if I only look at the dividend and interest, but there is also the share price development and for me "financing" is short-term (2-3), but the share remains...

And the wife might get Dubai next year 😉

@SimonSays97 5x Simon's birth, there was already P&G.. 😛

@MUGIWARA7 What are you trying to tell me? That P&G doesn't fall in recessions?

@SimonSays97 in the long term. Procter has been rising for 25 years. You hardly ever find the right time anyway. I always tried until it went from "Buy the Dip" to "Buy the Dips". Keep it up Nobody! Sell your kidney.
