ETF customization

Happy New Year everyone! We are starting the new year with adjustments to the Sina ETF. (The performance here below somehow no longer corresponds to the actual performance, but so be it...) After this post you'll have peace and quiet from my ETF again :D

I sold some stocks and invested the dividends I received last year. That left me with 19 euros in cash, so it's still a 40-share ETF ;)

If this were my only portfolio, I would probably have held more cash and not reinvested directly, as the entry point doesn't always seem optimal. But I also proceeded without regard to entry points.

For the question of how high the profits or losses were, please refer to the portfolio.

Out are:

$STLAM (-0,06 %) (loss)

$AFX (+0,41 %) (loss)

$MC (+0,74 %) (loss)

$OR (-0,12 %) (loss)

$7203 (+0,25 %) (loss)

$D05 (-1,19 %) (Profit)

$RHM (+1,05 %) (Profit)

$ENR (+8,85 %) (Profit; also dropped from my "real" portfolio)

Partial sale:

$WMT (+0,02 %) at 50%

Increased by:

$AAPL (-0,58 %)

$MSFT (+1,01 %)

$ASML (+0,99 %) Since the position was down over 20%, but I am convinced in the long term

$GOOGL (-1,3 %)

New additions:

$BKNG (-0,02 %)

$JPM (-0,28 %)

$NU (-0,57 %)

$COST (-0,19 %)

$AFL (-0,17 %)

$INTC (-1,02 %)

$CRM (+0,94 %)

$NOVO B (+1,71 %)

What motivated you to buy Apple? I'm currently thinking about getting rid of it (150% profit). Somehow I miss the growth and also the prospects of something bigger coming. I see a better future for the rest of your additions. Good luck with your selection 😇

@Bowser Yes, many people have been saying that here in the forum for years... has that been reflected in the share price? I didn't expect Apple to be one of the top performers last year, apart from NVIDIA. But that's how it turned out. In my view, Apple will do well. In my main portfolio, they have 10% 😅

@lawinvest I'm still struggling with that too. Especially because they are also very highly weighted in the ETF and I also have Apple. I also lack a bit of vision, even though I'm an Apple fan. But the last few smartphones weren't exactly characterized by innovation. Maybe there will be something more in the future. But the e-car project has been discontinued, production of the Vision Pro has been discontinued and smaller projects have been discontinued. Somehow I have the feeling things aren't going so well. I would still see potential in the smart home sector in particular, but apparently Apple doesn't want to go any deeper into it. Well, let's see what the future brings. (Written on the IPhone 16 without Ai 🤖) 🤣🤭

@Bowser since the presentation of the Apple Vision pro, I have assumed that there will be a more affordable model (because of "Pro") => I still assume that.
Smarthome: this year a station consisting of a tablet and possibly a speaker or additional purchase of a running speaker (paring with HomePod) is to come. I think smarthome will be expanded.

I've always thought this eAuto was a lame duck 😅

What people often forget is the switch to M processors. This saves costs (no need to buy chips from others). They are powerful and very efficient. It also gives Apple the opportunity to sell their Macs like iPhones (oh look everything is the same and here we have a 1.5x faster processor). And that seems to work. Apple has started with this type of processor across the board. Microsoft is now also doing this to some extent. So it can't be that bad.
For me, it's a pretty big innovation, but one that hardly gets any attention

@lawinvest Nevertheless, it is of course a "problem" that Apple is enormously dependent on iPhone sales
