Hello getquin community!

I am currently taking part in the competition Stock Market Simulation Game which started on 4.10.2024 and runs until 30.1.2025. I have already bought a few shares, but I am open to tips and suggestions for improvement.

Do you have any recommendations for specific sectors, stocks or strategies that have proven successful in such a time-limited competition? Would you go for long term potential or would you rather go for short term gains through volatile stocks?

I am grateful for any ideas!

Since it is only a "game" and there is only a short investment period left, I would say All In: $QQQ3

@xkniggo Firstly, there is only a limited number of shares you can invest in and secondly, the amount for one share is capped. I believe it is 10k. So all in is not possible.

If you want to end up far ahead, you need a lot of risk. Either in a random small cap of your choice, a leveraged ETF... that way you'll probably be far ahead or behind. But "top 30%" with long-term investments is not rewarded in this game.

@KevinE does not work in my opinion. You can only invest in certain shares and there is a maximum amount per share. Leveraged products and options do not work at all.
