Telecom

Deutsche Telekom is one of my top investments because it plays an important role in the telecommunications sector. With a strong market position in Europe and expansion in the US through T-Mobile, there is a lot of growth potential here. I was particularly impressed by the continuous investment in network technologies such as 5G and fiber optics, which will enable future innovations and services. Stable cash flows and an attractive dividend policy make Deutsche Telekom a valuable part of my portfolio. $DTE (+0,47 %)

@user1d7gf8465j461735 Telekom will certainly also benefit from the new infrastructure package. I would therefore still get in.
However, the question must be clarified for you: do you want to keep the position in the short, medium or long term?
For me, it's a medium-term investment, which is why I've made the investment now.

@user1d7gf8465j461735 Yes, I strongly believe so. The large financial package was confirmed today (note: everyone can make of it what they will). And I am convinced that Telekom will also benefit from it. Simply through the (probable) expansion with fast Internet.

They have over 130 million customers in the USA and are the second-largest provider after Verizon. I therefore don't see much growth potential in the USA.

@SSIT Customers then switch to Verizon $VZ or AT&T $T. There is enough choice in the USA. This is precisely why the growth potential is so low.

@Chandra As I understand the test results, T-Mobile offers by far the best network over there. Meanwhile, Verizon and AT&T are still dealing with legacy issues.

One should also not forget their strong position and activities in cloud and AI infrastructure. Which also played a role for me.

The T-Share! That I can still experience this 😊. Do you remember Ron Sommer and Manfred Krug? No? Then you're probably a few decades younger than me.
We Telekom shareholders were showered with scorn and ridicule after the IPO and the share price plummeted. We hardly dared to admit that we had the share in our portfolio.
It feels good that the company is doing so well today.
