The rumors surrounding the Chinese AI start-up DeepSeek have caused considerable turbulence on the stock markets:
- Nvidia $NVDA (-2,32 %) and Broadcom $AVGO (+3,37 %) lead the list of losers today with a whopping minus of -17% at the top!
- Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) $AMD (+0,82 %) also experienced a massive decline of -7%
- Also Google $GOOGL (+2,73 %) , Microsoft $MSFT (-4,1 %) and Tesla $TSLA (-0,23 %) are also in the red with losses of -4%, -2% and -3%.
- Apple $AAPL (-1,93 %) on the other hand, surprised with resilience and an impressive +3-4% price increase - since the beginning of the year the share has nevertheless -8% lost!
I am somewhat skeptical about the performance and the actual cost advantages of the AI model - so I will wait until the information situation becomes clearer.
