Microsoft: Too much in my wallet?

attachment

$MSFT (-0,71 %)

More than 10.00% of my portfolio is invested in Microsoft between direct stocks and ETFs. The company dominates the cloud with Azure, drives innovation in AI through OpenAI, and continues to generate record profits. So far it has been a winning bet, but is having so much capital concentrated on one stock a sustainable strategy or a risk? Is it better to take profit and diversify or to hold on to a big tech stock that seems unstoppable? How much do you count on the growth of big companies in the long run? Do you prefer the security of diversification or bet big on market leaders? Tell me your strategy and how you balance risk and opportunity in your investments!

The issue is very subjective. If you feel comfortable, I see no reason to reduce your exposure to Microsoft. The company is the only one along with JNJ that has a better credit rating than the U.S. government. Right now it is really hard to lose money on it in the long run. The real risk may be to do worse than the market for a few years given the certainly not discounted valuation.
