Sell Alphabet?

Would you $GOOGL (-0,39 %) sell? I have somehow only heard bad news recently and had actually bought with confidence at a P/E ratio of approx. 18.

Absolutely not. Rather buy more at the current price. Take a look at the latest quarterly figures.

@Julien_rei Alphabet will be a shaky road to the top, but I'm totally convinced by the company in the long term! I massively increased my Alphabet position during the crash 👍 It'll take a few years, but I think Alphabet will still hit the turbo 🚀

Google makes money: every search query and click on the link, 1 euro of the company to Google, Google operating system 50% market share with One store ABO are continuous and scalable revenue, Waymo self-driving cars, Gemini. etc. The portfolio is large, the return is good. Of course, if something breaks away now, another area will be stronger. I only started investing in Alphabet in 2025. I am convinced that the outperformance of funds and ETFs will remain in the long term.

@Smudeo Alphabet may not explode like NVIDIA did in its heyday, but I think they will definitely make very good profits in the long run! Just when you consider what Alphabet has in the pipeline: Waymo, Gemini, quantum chip Willow, the deal with Northrop Grumman... 👍

As a consumer, I'm no longer convinced by the product, but the ad market is still going strong at the moment and the share is valued extremely low for a tech share. I'm still waiting for the share price to rise before I sell; if the US market calms down again now, it may be in a few months' time.
