If it weren't for the withholding tax, Nestle would also be in my portfolio

How do you deal with withholding tax on dividends?
Imagen de perfil
@Italiener Good point. I have looked into this. You need various documents to reclaim the excess withholding tax paid. Among other things, a tax voucher. This can be free of charge or cost money. I have only now seen that Scalable charges €25 per tax voucher (i.e. per dividend). I will therefore transfer the nestle position to ING (I also have a custody account there). Because it's free there!

@Finanzaristokrat can't Dividenz do that for you? what about Trade Republic?
Imagen de perfil
@Italiener you have to submit the documents. Divizend won't do that for you either. I also think it's nonsense to pay for it, because you can easily do it yourself online in Switzerland (including Norway).

At TR the tax voucher also costs 20-25€! Per dividend !!!!

Scalable and Trade Republic charge a fee per tax voucher (e.g. €25 per distribution) - see the price lists for withholding tax refunds .
- If you received dividends in 2025, 2026 and 2027, for example, and each of these tax vouchers is subject to a fee, you would have to
1. apply for three tax vouchers (one for each year).
2. pay three fees (each cost item).
3. create and submit a collective application for three years in the ePortal.

ING free of charge

We, ING, will provide you with all the necessary documents required by the Swiss tax authorities free of charge together with the income payment. They are all included in the same document:

Income statement (page 1 + 2)
Tax voucher (page 3)
Information and declaration (page 4)

@Finanzaristokrat Oh dear, then it's better for me to sell the Nestle share again for tax purposes... I thought Dividenz would do it all for me, but if I pay €25 for TR and Dividenz wants a commission of 17.5%, then there's not much left over

@Italiener that's how it looks. Therefore, having several brokers is not wrong.

@Finanzaristokrat I already have two, although as an Italian I am at a disadvantage when it comes to dividends anyway...

Not a big fan of the earnings

Thought the bottom was reached at €95 haha. But never mind, at nestele, tenths count 😂

Why are Nestle and Lindt falling again at the moment? Is the franc so strong and the dollar weak? Consumers less money?
