
Brazilian state oil company Petrobras $PETR3 (-2,65 %)
$PETR4 (-0,35 %) announced on Friday that its board of directors has approved an agreement to settle a US court dispute with EIG Energy Fund XIV, which includes a payment of 283 million dollars by the Brazilian company.
Petrobras said in a securities filing that the amount is accrued in its earnings. The case is related to EIG's investment in FIP Sondas, a former shareholder of the drillship company Sete Brasil.
