have a question for those of us who already have $9433 (-0,32 %) ( KDDI Corp. ) in their portfolio or have them on their watchlist.

I would be interested to know where you see an entry point or where you would add more.

I have the share in my savings plan and am considering making a one-off payment here.

I think the share price is interesting at the moment.

What does that look like for you?

Why get in at all🤔? Without having taken a closer look at the company and the business, at least the chart/price trend is a disaster.

@PassiveInvest Thank you for your answer. I just don't quite understand what you mean or what time period your opinion is based on.
Share price 5 years +68%, share price 10 years +128%, share price 15 years +463%.
In my opinion, 🇯🇵 is a pretty reliable dividend payer from the telecommunications sector that generates stable CF and profits.
Increased dividend for 21 years and no reduction for 27 years. 38% pay-out.

You're right of course, I was relying on the max. chart here at getquin, which (shame on me for not noticing it straight away) only goes back to 2022. In that period (i.e. the last 2 years) the chart performance is a disaster. I'm generally a fan of Japan stocks, have a few in my portfolio myself, but am currently still exploring $6361. But your stock is at least on my watchlist, thanks for that, I'll take a closer look at it. It looks pretty solid to me and is certainly a good investment if you like telecommunications😉.

@PassiveInvest Yes, it's similar for me (unfortunately Asia is still underrepresented in my portfolio), so I'm currently looking around in Japan. In addition to $8001 (industry), I already have $9433 in my portfolio as the No. 2 in the telecommunications/mobile phone/Internet sector in Japan. On the watchlist there is also $8630 (finance/insurance) with good prospects - I'm still looking into whether it will find its way into the portfolio. Somehow I find it difficult to find suitable stocks for a dividend strategy in 🇯🇵.

@Dividenden-Sammler is actually not that easy, that's true. My exposure to Asia is comparatively high, from Japan currently $8058, $8053 and $8031 in the portfolio, $8001 on the watch, but the best entry so far this year has already receded into the distance again, plus, as already mentioned, $6361 on the list, which I would probably add to the portfolio even before Itochu, but have already missed the more favorable moment for an entry. Otherwise, I am currently only invested in $D05.

Yes, that would interest me too - it's also on my watchlist...there's not much left to buy ;)

@Log123Go I bought it yesterday at €25.60. It is now still in the savings plan. With buy-and-hold, I don't think the last euro more or less is important as an entry price in the long term.

@Log123Go and did you run?

I'm also thinking about getting in at the beginning of july if the price doesn't go up steeply there either
