Qualcomm and AMD avoid Chinese tariffs

This step is intended to avoid additional costs and keep supply chains stable. Analysts see this as a strategic adjustment to the tougher geopolitical environment.

I think Apple and other companies will do the same. Although Apple already produces in India and Indonesia to some extent. Trump is only ensuring that the Chinese are now stepping on the gas even more and becoming independent from the rest of the world at breakneck speed. As a result, China will catch up with the USA even faster and soon become the biggest world power. Trump is only motivating the Chinese.

@Tenbagger2024 the advantage with Qualcomm is that they don't produce themselves, but can freely choose the producer, so they can react more quickly to such things. And yes, I also think it will lead to some shifts...

But it is probably logical that companies are trying to circumvent the tariffs in a roundabout way. Nobody is going to relocate production to the USA so quickly. Trump is a dreamer

@Tenbagger2024 I see it the same way, nobody will make major investments in such an unclear environment

Trump will be gone in a good 3 years. Hardly any chip factories will be built in the USA in that time. Just wait and see
