Portfolio of a 26 year old - too much tech weighting?

Hi everyone,

Now I'm also sharing my portfolio. At the moment I'm actually quite happy with the development, I'm just wondering whether I'm too heavily weighted in the tech sector & whether it would be sensible to halve a stock such as $ANET (-3,06 %) in half & include something else like $1211 (+3,76 %) to be included.

Especially the issue with the sell-off in $FTNT (-0,79 %) due to the moderately ongoing tech refresh of hardware devices makes me doubt Arista for how long this will work.

In general, I think it would make sense not to have so much in the USA...

Other opinions on weighting/portfolio?

So 74% in the tech sector is very high,
Other sectors such as banks, capital goods, precious metals and healthcare are not represented at all
There are interesting companies in all these sectors that are performing well and are also undervalued.

@18ares Crypto and precious metals are not sectors, but asset classes.

Regardless of the stocks you hold, I think a strong overweight in tech makes a lot of sense - especially as long as we see momentum in this sector.

Other sectors, such as the healthcare sector, which many seem to find interesting, have no momentum and are currently structurally rather weak compared to the tech sector.

In my opinion, you should always back the fastest horse and invest according to the motto "When I see a bubble forming, I rush in to buy, adding fuel to the fire".

There is also the aspect of age and in view of this, I think it makes sense.

What exactly makes you doubt arista?
@7digitbaki that Arista mainly sells hardware; as long as data centers for AI & Co are springing up, they should sell quite well, but at some point the point will come when all the required HE has been sold. However, if customers do not replace everything after x years, as is the case with Fortinet, there will be a lack of new sales....

It's best to have a portfolio that you can sleep with peace of mind and not look at for a week... 😁
