Logical career move

As if the man (or his companies such as X and $TSLA (+1,03 %) ) didn't already have enough problems - now he wants to enter politics.

Whereby: actually the logical move. The man can make empty promises in his sleep, so as a politician he doesn't have to change his ways at all ...

I wonder when the barrel will finally overflow for investors ...

More diversity in the US party system should please us as moral diversity champions of the world, shouldn't it, because the "wrong" ones are doing it?

@TheRealDarthVader There always comes a major crisis at some point! It doesn't really matter who or what triggers the whole thing, the important thing is always to have enough cash reserves to ride it out and not get into a situation where you have to touch the deposit 😉

@TomCOR yes it is possible, but it is difficult to get votes... there is also Greenparty etc.

@TomCOR There are umpteen parties in the US besides Dem and Rep. Only they get virtually zero votes because Americans have gotten used to their de facto two-party system.

However, with a lot of money and a lot of name recognition, you can make a difference, of course.

I just wonder how Elon is going to finance it when Tesla is at 30 USD ... or is about to hit the wall completely.

@Charmin The biggest question is how he's going to reconcile all of this? Tesla, SpaceX, politics... 🤣 If he really goes through with it, I'm pretty sure he'll drive Tesla completely into the wall!
