Share presentation India 🇮🇳

ICICI Bank 🏦 $IBN (-0,17 %) India's second largest private bank with a market capitalization of around USD 80 bn (as of 2025). In FY2024, it generated a net profit of ~USD 2.9 bn, with loan growth of ~17% YoY and a return on equity (ROE) of over 17%.

Strengths:

  • Strong retail banking with over 6,000 branches
  • Solid capital ratio (CET-1 > 14%)
  • Digital leadership in the Indian banking sector

Growth driver:

  • Growing middle class in India
  • Rising demand for credit in the SME and consumer sector
  • Expansion of digital platforms and fintech collaborations

My conclusion:

Well positioned for sustainable growth in the dynamic Indian market. Interesting for long-term investment + nice dividend.

Did you know the share and what do you think?

Hello dear,
Are you still looking in the pharmaceutical sector?

There were a few negative reports here, which is why the share fell.
Intuitive is facing growing competition, particularly from Medtronic and smaller companies such as CMR Surgical and Moon Surgical. Medtronic has a strong position in Europe with the CE marking of its systems, while CMR Surgical and Moon Surgical are entering the market with new systems.

Intuitively, however, the market leader remains positive.
The only question is whether the high valuation can still be justified.

@Tenbagger2024 I wouldn't buy it at the current valuation level for the reasons you mentioned. Even though many people say that you will never get a good share cheaply.

And what do you think
$EXEL ?

@Tenbagger2024 Since I only comment on companies that I have dealt with and this is not the case here so far, I unfortunately have no opinion on this at the moment. If that changes, I'll be happy to let you know. 😉 Basically, I'm more involved in the biotechnology sector when it comes to oncology. It's not for nothing that my largest single stock position in the portfolio is $BNTX.

@Tenbagger2024 Without having looked at the figures, I think an entry around € 30 would be interesting, at least from a purely technical point of view.

Hello my dear,
I generally find India interesting.
But if I want to invest in a bank, I also find interesting investments in Europe or the USA.
So why wander so far afield

Thanks for sharing here, i've put the stocks on my watchlist 👀

Ex employee here. Avoid at all costs. There has recently been news where some employee took money out of fixed deposits without customers knowledge and invested in F&O and blew it up. Somewhere to the tune of 400k eur .

The reputation of this bank is in shambles.
