Beginner's mistake - out with it

After holding the stock for over 3 years, I have now sold my first ever share.

I got carried away by the hype back then. But that's probably just as much a part of investing.

You learn from your mistakes.

At least I'll get some tax back, as I sold a large amount at a profit at the beginning of the year.

Mistakes you learn from become experiences! 🤓

What did you learn from the mistake? After all, you can also learn from mistakes. 😬

Is now probably the best time to buy ever? Nobody in the world likes PayPal shares anymore. All the big Instis are out. All the influencers are out. All growth investors are out. All dividend hunters are out. Yet PayPal delivers solid quarterly figures. The only reason people are getting out is because they are unhappy with the share price, which makes the share price even cheaper.

Interesting, as a customer I like it, as an investor never interested in it

I'm still down 47% with the pipe cracker :D
I entered Paypal with a - by my standards at the time - large position of over 4k and am still almost 29% in the red. I'm annoyed that I didn't sell at a profit last winter and now I don't know what to do with the position. Sell or hope that the solid figures will be reflected in the share price.
