SPDR is listed on the stock exchange and so is MSCI, so you indirectly line your own pockets. Vanguard is a private company and only has the cool cooperative structure in the USA, so there is no great reason to choose them in Europe.

@junio I only have Microsoft as an individual share, but no others.
Most investors don't manage to beat the Msci World. So you can do quite well with such an ETF.
The analysis takes a lot of time - learning how to value shares and companies takes time - and the risk increases with individual shares.

I prefer to invest passively and for the long term.
