$VHYG (+0,3 %) is my first acc Fund.

how often the dividends are reinvested, quarterly?

how you get notified when this happens?

do you get fractional shares? Or how it works when the dividend amount does not

match full shares?

You dont get notified and you dont get ,,extra‘‘ Shares. The fund reinvests the dividends to buy more stocks, which contributs to a higher price increase of the fund.

Hello all,


soon a legacy of my 'former' investments will expire. A certificate with Deka. I would like to use the sum invested there + return (approx. value of the current deposit) to have a diversified basis with an ETF in addition to my current portfolio.


Now I have the question which ETF you would recommend. In addition to my individual shares, I have about 13% of the $VHYG (+0,3 %) in my portfolio and currently I am investing monthly in the $IWDA (+0,72 %) and the $VWRL (+0,46 %)


I would prefer to distribute the sum as a savings plan within 6 months on one (maximum 2) ETF.

Which ETF and which type of investment (one-time vs. savings plan) would you recommend?

🚀 Alcista

Accumulating dividend ETF to reduce the growth share and balance it with value shares.


One hears a lot that in the future also value shares should profit strongly.


What do you think ? Is it sensible or bullshit ?

The idea of balancing is good in itself. But I wouldn't do it for the reason that you might see a stronger performance in value now because of the interest rate hikes. Value has already done damn well, you would now be acting strongly procyclical. Only my opinion, not investment advice.
