IKEA reports record sales despite global supply chain disruptions and rapidly rising costs, which the company says is a sign of the Swedish brand's appeal in uncertain economic times. Sales are up 6.5%, to 44.6 billion.

2nd Netflix announces price of its subscription plan with ads
Netflix is offering its ad-supported service for $6.99 per month, which is $1 less than Disney+ and Hulu with ads. The ads are supposed to be about 15-30 seconds long each and account for about 4-5 minutes of an hour. What do you guys think of the offer? Would you change your Netflix subscription if the offer comes to Germany?

3. blackrock's asset-under-management fall below 8 trillion US dollars
BlackRock posted a smaller-than-expected drop in quarterly profit Thursday as strong demand for exchange-traded funds and other low-risk products cushioned the impact of global market volatility on fee income, but assets under management fell below expectations. The company's assets under management fell to $7.96 trillion in the third quarter, down 16% from a year earlier, as the stronger dollar eroded the value of investments in Europe and Asia.

4. Sony's and Honda's e-car coming to U.S. in 2026
Sony Honda Mobility (SHM) plans to start taking pre-orders for its vehicle in the first half of 2025 and hopes to launch sales before the end of the year. In the U.S., the car will be available in early 2026. To compete against strong rivals, SHM plans to develop Level 3 automated driving under limited conditions and enable Level 2+ driver assistance in even more situations such as city traffic.
