@But_the_Stock_Picked_Me believe that, for once, the problems are not with the government

@But_the_Stock_Picked_Me The government is better known for bailing out poorly managed large companies. I'd be happy if taxpayers' money wasn't used to bail out these companies again while the CEOs move on to the next company with their severance pay...

@Hotte1909 An extremely large amount of energy is used in the production of chemicals. Due to the high energy prices in Germany, Bayer is no longer profitable in Germany, but all other sites are. So it's all down to politics. Expensive electricity in particular can be avoided by using nuclear power plants.

@Maximilian01 ok. So in your eyes, the price slide has nothing to do with the court rulings in the USA? That's what this article was about. When Bayer shares will get back on their feet. And our government has relatively little to do with that.
@Hotte1909 Also because of lawsuits that could be let go with the backing of the government. Have you ever heard of the US government enforcing EU penalties against Apple? No, neither have I. The main profit is made abroad and everything is closed down in Germany, it's the same with BASF. So it's DE or the government that has caused the energy costs through its maximally bad foreign policy. PS Ukraine even continues to buy gas and uses and sells it. Germany pays well and has turned off the tap itself. Who betrayed us, the social democrats! An old saying that has not changed.
