The Hammerhead Project from ExxonMobil ($XOM (+0,49 %)) in Guyana is the most recent project. ExxonMobil plans to produce between 12k and 180k
barrels of oil per day. In addition to oil production also natural gas will also be produced, between 60k and 120k
cubic feet per day. To achieve these production targets, ExxonMobil plans to add up to 30 wells. These include both production wells, which oil and gas as well as injection wells, which help to maintain pressure in the reservoir and maximize production.

ExxonMobil expects oil production in 2029 which means that extensive preparatory work will take place over the next few years.
