@Eochaid My parents live in the countryside, even more remote than other villages, and I remember how I couldn't even use internet resources when I was at school because the internet speed wasn't up to it. Things have improved in the meantime, but there are just too many areas that aren't covered. We agree with your point about hiring foreign workers. However, at the data company where I work, we have hired many developers from abroad because there are simply not enough of them. There is definitely a recruitment competition for qualified IT staff here. 2-3 have already left Germany for Canada, Argentina and France. BG Magnus
