I am with $LEG (+3,99 %) and $MPW (+1,14 %) each around 70% in the red. With $NVDA (-2,18 %) on the other hand, I am very well up. Now I'm thinking about selling the two shares and making a partial sale of Nvidia so that I 1. have the "loser" shares out of my portfolio and 2. take a profit on Nvidia or pay no tax on the sale.

I always find selling a bit difficult, so I would like to read other opinions on this.

Thank you and best regards

With MPW you have to be careful, you can't offset the losses against share gains, you can only do so with other reits 😭

The quarterly figures for $MPW are due next week, so I think the worst is already behind us in terms of the share price. Well, whatever happens with Steward Healthcare could shake up the share price again.
I got in there for the first time this year at €3.30 and have since bought twice more and will hold.
Why? 1) Despite the lack of payments from Steward, a dividend can be paid from the cash flow. 2) A few weeks ago, 4 (or 5?) of a total of 444 properties were sold for about half of their current market capitalization to pay off all debts for 2024 and 2025. In my opinion, they are absolutely undervalued in terms of the value of their properties.
3) Over 200m shares (out of 600m) are sold short. 450m of these are in the hands of institutions. Could become tight if the short sellers stock up ☺️

Basically, you don't have a crystal ball. 🔮 It's difficult to guess how prices will develop.

If you realize losses & think that Nvidia won't gain much for the time being, I would make partial sales.

After $LEG fell by around 18% today, I would not sell at the moment but take the dividends.
